TFT Rngenesis

If you ever wondered if TFT was rng, look no further than this game.

Everyone is level 7, except for me so I can try to stabilize and have a higher chance to find an olaf at lvl 8. I couldn't pivot to any other comp. I got a gold box from wolves. It could have been a spatula so I could build 6 berserkers, but it turned out to be a mundo and annie. xD

Now let's get to the game. The guy who knocked me out had t2 Ashe with double giant slayer, tier 2 twitch, crystal synergy, steel, effectively countering my composition. After I died, he got a t2 Singed also. Gugolski has a tier 2 electric Lux plus tier 2 Zed plus a tier 2 Olaf at level 7, after raptors. Chaosburningstar had a tier 2 Olaf with glaical and it froze my team to death. Moondoy has a tier 2 amumu after wolves, tier 2 lucian, tier 2 janna at level 7. One guy had an Olaf at lvl 6.

Now you are probably tempted to say I shouldn't have gone for an Olaf, but remember this is stage 4 where people are just reaching lvl 7. I also got lvl 7 early, but even then I was unable to find an Olaf, and eventually half of the Olafs were gone because they got them first. At stage 4-5 half of the Olafs were gone. I rolled before a bunch of Olafs were gone, but I only got Brands. I didn't even get any other mages or ocean, so I couldn't pivot into that. So if we're being honest here, I was trolled by rng. Also, normally, having zerkers with two lockets, cloud, and a seraphs khazix would allow you to survive to the late game, but not against that.

And yes, those guys were the top 3. The 4th place guy was the guy who used a Woodland Lux.

This isn't the only game with stuff like this happening. If I am getting anything below 4th place, I guarantee you something like this happened 90% of the time. If I am top 4, I guarantee you I had some good rng.

So either you had good RNG with the Renekton OR you were an idiot and hyper rolled for that single Renekton thereby removing any chance you had to transition.

Those are some kinda wierd comps... Just out of interest what rank is this?

I've found recently that I've had more success when I keep my plan flexible and don't rely on one single high cost unit to complete things. If I get them then yes it gives a nice power spike but am always thinking of alternatives to pick up too.

An example of this is going inferno but having 6 with thresh and Nautilus as front line to give ocean and warden bonus. If i get an amumu, that's great but I don't need it.
