So hyperrolling is not dead and it's just another layer of RNG dammit
An example from my last game but i've been seeing this all day. All the top 3 player had... nothing.
First is like 2 void 2 yordles 2 sorcs 2 assasins
Second is 3 Sorc (yey!) 3 Nobles 3 yordles
Third 2 imperial 2 ranger 3 knights Phantoms
I had 4 wild 3 shapeshifters 3 sorcerours 2 dragons AAAAAND my Asol had double SoS and my Shiv had PD / BT / Rageblade ffs - What i DON'T have is is higher level units. All the poeple in the top 3 had 3 lvl3 units a pop, even first and second having a lvl3 kass a pop. I SAW 4 nids the entire game - i did have like 7 shivanas at the end since it was the only thing coming up regurarlly. All i was doing was playing for interest but it seems that there comes a point when you you're on 50+g for ~5 rounds then you start getting smacked for 15-20 a turn - so you stabilize with some levels / 2 stars but then you just get Star checked because your econs ruined looking for pieces. (again i've been seeing this happen all day). The scarry thing is these poeple were also lvl 7, presumably cruising off win streaks. I saw a dude get lvl 3 Kha'zix before second carousell ffs...
Sooooo tell me again why not just hyperroll every single game and play "whatever"? Because the surrender button is grayed out for to long if it doesn't pay off that's why... I think TFT damage is just to high to consistently play for econ at this point. In UL / AC you can skim loss streaks by only loosing like 1-2 damage a round but that guranteed 2 extra damage from the little legend every round REALLY stacks up. There's also the fact that since everyone's hyper rolling well... the 3 stars hit harder. It'd be one thing if you lost to like someone who had a better comp / got their comp online faster, you'd be loosing to 1-2* units.
PS: Is lulu the new damn pyke? i swear all these random comps all slot in a lulu. Her Class and Origin are pretty bad but if you don't care about actually... building a tactic that ult is "pretty" stupid i gues.
Edit: God i swear this is just a whole new level of r%%%%%ed. I'm usually one to smack people that just go "lol autochess is random, i didn't get the 1 unit i need!!!" - NO! you're suposed to play to the shop (btw nobody was contesting my comp) make smart decisions know how to econ properlly and you'll win - Underlords has ranked allready and if (that) game was random then the top people wouldn't STAY at the top consistently would they now?! But this crap?!?!?!?! - it's a fucking skinner box - hit a button and throw the "food" you get into the arena and "stuff" happens. Wtf...
