seriously im the only one on my team, it affects nobody. if i get unlucky rolls, no items, i am just going to afk it instead of struggling for 5th place. just let me fucking leave, this isnt a team mode theres zero reason to not allow me to fold if i dont think the hand is goign to get me anywhere, especially with how much of the game is decided to chance
yeah TFT seems kind of like a rushed copycat idea just to get people to buy little legend pets
I honestly assumed this was a bug, but after reading the forums I guess not. The amount of influence that these items have is insane, and drops should not be RNG based. I finally decided to extensively try the game out today, and in multiple games I got almost no items. Meanwhile other people instantly had multiple completed items in the very first rounds. Unless they change it to where only what item you get is RNG this isn't going to go anywhere especially with a ranked mode because people will start to move to Dota Underlords where the item rounds you always get items it's just random which one you get. Getting stomped because you just can't get one of the core components of the game just feels really bad. Also before anyone brings out the "go back to Dota" card I don't play Dota, and can't stand the core game.
I still would want this mode to be rng based but yes what you are describing sucks. What if everyone got an equal amount of items on the opening rounds, just that the items that they get are random?
this is exactly my biggest beef with the game right now, got zero items from first phase and only one other person got the shaft like me and we both lose, and typically always lose if you get nothing at the start. terrible idea by riot.
Is not fun at all, I don't have gold , I don't have champs, and no itens comes. I feel like losing my time on the first rounds

i posted a thread of idea that include item changes.. I like the game mode I just think it needs to be more balanced more.. Getting items randomly seems a bit luck based for a game all about strategy..

Wanna talk about re-rolling 24 times (yes I tried that shit just to see how r%%%%%ed this RNG shit is) and only getting ANY of the champions you currently have in the table twice? Should have just deleted the five silver champs I had for the new champions the RNG system had just "bias(ed)" on.
Still wonder how I got to 2nd.
Yeah you can surrender with no penalty afaik. I did it last night in a game where I was getting tired and my luck was rotten
