Last season was so much more enjoyable than this one.

I honestly don't even understand what made you guys change things in this direction. The RNG is far worse now. Consistency is impossible. Viable strategies don't exist, because you have to do something different every single game.

WTF did you guys do with this game?

This season is very obvious that they are putting chokepoints in matches, randomly deciding what comps will win or lose any given match, and setting you up for fail builds (if you play into the "what's dealt" meta), while not even trying to hide when they are forcing you to lose or boosting you to win.

You can see it in the matches when the game slates you as a definite winner, then slows wayyyyyyyyy down, and suddenly your 3v1 is defeated by a mega ult and crit that had not existed the entire match otherwise. You can see the game thinking "how am I going to pull this BS loss off?" it seems.

You can see it when the game gives you 3 tiles worth of a gold champ (that's 2 2-stars with 2 one-stars) while it ruthlessly denies you the final piece needed for the ENTIRE REST OF THE GAME. That locks you out of real estate you could use to flip your build, and it leads you on to believe you should hold pieces that you really wasted your time and gold and real estate on. I've seen this in SO MANY GAMES this season that it's beyond aggravating.

You can see it when the game figures you're on a certain comp, and then it withholds units from you to lock you out of the comp. I've had matches where, in one particular case regarding a nasus, I was going for a certain build, and I only needed one gray piece to finish the comp. Got every single other thing needed. Never even once saw that one-star nasus, ever, that match, ever.

But, I can sell a gray piece late game that I no longer need, and all the sudden, my market is flooded with that stupid card for the next 20 flips. Yeah, right.

You can really, really see it when you play a few games back-to-back, and at least one of the games, EVERY SINGLE FLIP is a completely different roster from anything you've gotten and anything you've farmed over and over and over. Hell, you can even build into common pieces trying to change your strategy, and then watch as your flips magically pull from anything but the pool you just went to. I've had several matches where I couldn't hardly get more than a couple of odd-mixed runes on the floor because the "random deck" was giving me everything but what I wanted or needed until I changed my mind, then it changed its mind and started giving me other stuff.

This season is pretty crap imo. The elemental buffs are also pretty silly. These things are not working cohesively.

Isn't that the point? Ideally all comps should be viable. You should be able to run a different comp every game and still have a chance to win instead of being forced to rush the same couple of comps every single game.

You're forgetting that the whole previous season was just Knights early game with Gunslinger/Blademaster late game. And the only useful item was a bow. You all fight over the same units/items and the luckiest one wins. How is RNG worse now?

RNG will always be a thing in this game. It's literally how the game is played. I think they did a much better job in this season than the previous one, with giving more viable comps and giving you ability to last longer in game so you have a chance to actually build a comp.

riot modificated the game (and the RNG) to help every player this way they did make the game "more interasting" but as result definitive hands dont shine as much.

notice as in the old TFT there were players about to collapse around stage 3 but in new TFT by stage 3 everyone is healthy.

Omg guys, he's talking about TFT. o-o'

And honestly last season, wasn't that great either.

But I have come to believe this season is better or a bit more interesting.

Don't get me wrong, the rng is still trash though.

Only if you insist to build only one comp from start to end. This way you permit the game to dictate what is your comp. Ignore what people say on net. You can play whatever late comp you want by building a temporary comp for early-mid game and than migrate to your wished late game comp.

Don't spend gold for 3 stars. Keep money to level up and buy late game comp.

Items generally should dictate what comp you go, not units.

If you are refering to S8, yes

And season 7 was even more, even when the ardent censer meta that gave girls free elo.

I'm still learning the strategies but from what I've seen so far is that traits are borderline worthless. Seriously just get a rank 2 Olaf and have BT/ Guinsoo's and you win. Or a Sivir with Swordbreaker so that none of your opponents can basic attack and therefore you win.

The only time I've seen traits matter was Ocean/Mage and i saw 4 people use that same comp with a Malphite that was made a mage. Can't hope to win if your units are earning frequent flier miles.

One other time was me using 6 wardens and had a rank 3 Nasus with 700 armor. Shit was comical, but still borderline worthless as a rank 2 Vlad tore through him like wet toilet paper.

Anything RNG related is still an issue and always will be. So far from what I've seen the only NOT RNG related issue is Krugs always dropping gold. Might just be me, but going through the Krugs round and only getting 6 gold 5 games in a row is either RNGeesus not being there, or he's just treating me like he's a Catholic priest to a 7 year old boy. Either case is not ok.
