Level 3 seems impossible for me and this game seems fair and balanced

Ive literally gone a couple days without getting level 3s while other people can have 2 or 3 level 3s by end of krugs. Maybe im saving too much, hyper roll? Naw fam, well give you everything not youre comp or blue ball you with 2 champs that you only need one more of and you never get but now you lose cause your econ is fucked and the dude that never had to re roll has 50+ gold and can free roll his way to level 8 and 9 by the time youre able to hit 6.

Oh maybe I can make a comeback with items! naw fam, you get 1G. Darn maybe I can make a comeback on the carousal and get a bow! Naw, either its on the other side of you when you get out of the gates and by the time you get to it even the second round of pickers get it before you or theres no item you need to finish your items.

Great, I have a legitimate comp of 6 yordles! Naw, that one volibear or akali just ran a train on your whole team.

whats worse is losing to someone who has 5-7 fully built items by krugs. But i agree, the shared pool needs to be addressed

Played three games today without being able to upgrade any two units with synergy to level 2. Sure I can try to dump half my team to hybrid with some late game elise or graves rolls but when you get no items or units that can work together the game just piszes in your face.

Level 3s are a bonus, not a win condition. I wouldn't even recommend trying to get them unless the game is literally spoon feeding them to you.

I'm Platinum, and the majority of my games were won with all 2-star team comps.

3 stars are not necessary to win, and can easily be beaten by better teams. That's anywhere from 6 extra gold for 1-gold champions, to 30 extra gold for 5-gold champions that you could have spent on better things. Things like completing bonuses. Things like increasing your army size. You get a lot more power out of doing these things than you do by putting all your eggs one the proverbial basket.

Don't worry about 3-star champions. Worry about building a good team comp and utilizing items properly.
