Balance suggestions

This is a list of suggestions that address some problems the game is currently having balancewise. For the sake of keeping it somewhat short, I have not taken into consideration new content.

Summary:

  • Glacial stuns getting some nerfs here and there
  • Hextech 4 finally gets a purpose
  • Void gets a change
  • Small nerfs to the 2 beastly shapeshifters: Gnar and Shyvana
  • Blademasters, Gunslingers and some weaker champions (ex Mordekaiser) get some love
  • 500HP is now the minimum health: It's still a squishy value, but all champions now should be able to do there 'thing' a little bit more without any extra help of items or crazy damage/mana buffs or some other fringe characteristic.
  • Balance Design Change: Casters have their attack speed reduced => More emphasis on their ability strenght (also implies indirect nerfs to certain trait effects (glacial/demon))

CLASSES:

Ninjas: Bonus at 4: increased from 70 to 80

Hextech: 2 Hextech: 1 Pulse Bomb 4 Hextech: 2 Pulse Bombs

Glacial: Stun duration from 2s to 1.75s

Blademasters: Hit chance increased from 45 to 50%

Void: 2 Voids: Ignore half of the targets resistances 4 Voids: Deal true damage


CHAMPIONS

Katarina: Health increased from 450 to 500

Fiora: Health increased from 400 to 500 Ability stun duration decreased from 1.5 to 1.25

Aatrox: Attack damage increased from 65 to 70

Gangplank: Attack speed increased from 0.65 to 0.7

Graves: Armor decreased from 30 to 20 Attack speed decreased from 0.55 to 0.5 Attack damage decreased from 55 to 50 Attack damage multiplier increased from 5/10/15 to 20/30/40% Health increased from 450 to 5oo

Cleanup Graves stats: Tiny buff to survivability, His overall DPS remains the same. These changes put emphasize on his AD scaling being better than his AS scaling => Strenghtens the slow reloading, hard hitting shotgun archetype.

Tristana: Ability damage increased from 60/90/120 to 70/110/150

Lulu: Attack speed decreased from 0.6 to 0.55 Mana cost decreased from 150 to 125

Veigar: Ability damage increased from 300/550/800 to 350/650/950 Damage on higher star level lowered from 19999 => Now deals double the base ability damage as true damage

Kennen: Attack damage reduced from 65 to 50 Attack speed increased from 0.65 to 0.7 Ability damage changed from 225/450/675 to 250/450/650

Poppy: Attack speed from 0.5 to 0.55

Mordekaiser: Starting mana increased from 0 to 30

Sejuani: Attack damage from 45 to 50 Stun duration reduced from 2/4/6 to 2/3.5/5

Anivia: Attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55 Ability damage reduced from 800/1100/1400 to 600/900/1200 Mana cost reduced to 85 from 100

Lissandra: Attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55

Ashe: Attack damage reduced from 65 to 60 Stun duration per hex reduced from 1/1.5/2 to 1/1.25/1.5

Kindred: Attack damage increased from 60 to 70 Attack speed increased from 0.65 to 0.7 Ability health cap now scales with AP Ability health cap reduced from 300/600/900 to 250/500/750 Ability duration reduced from 4/5/6 to 3/4/5s

Brand: Attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55 Armor reduced from 25 to 20 Ability bounces changed from 4/6/20 to 5/10/15 Ability damage changed from 250/450/650 to 300/450/600

Morgana: Armor decreased from 30 to 20 Attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55 Ability damage changed from 175/300/425 to 150/300/450 Starting mana increased from 50 to 100

Elise: Spiderlings at rank 3: reduced from 4 to 3 Base attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55 Mana cost decreased from 100 t0 85 New: She now also gains 40% bonus attack speed in Spider Form

Kassadin and Kha: Attack speed increased from 0.6 to 0.65

Cho Gath: Attack speed decreased from 0.6 to 0.55 Attack damage increased from 70 to 75

Volibear: Attack speed increased from 0.55 to 0.65 Attack damage reduced from 75 to 70

Vi: Armor increased from 25 to 30

Blitzcrank: Power Fist now also deals 100% bonus physical damage

Warwick: Ability: allies now prioritze his target

Rengar: Ability attack speed bonus reduced from 30/50/70 to 25/25/25 Ability attack speed and crit bonus duration reduced from 6s to 5s Armor increased from 20 to 30 Base Attack speed increased from 0.6 to 0.7

Ahri: Health increased from 450 to 500

Gnar: Armor reduced from 30 to 20

Shyvana: Attack speed reduced from 0.7 to 0.65 Bonus attack damage lowered from 100/150/200 to 100/125/150

Aurelion Sol: Attack speed reduced from 0.6 to 0.55


ITEMS

  • Infinity Edge: Now also grants +5% Crit chance
  • Frozen Heart: Attack speed reduction increased from 25% to 30%
  • Sword of the Divine: CHANGED: After 8 seconds, gain 100% critical strike chance for the rest of combat
  • Seraphs Embrace: Gain 20 mana changed to gain 10 mana + 20% of maximum mana
  • Titanic Hydra: Deals 16% of max health (up from 10)
  • Hush: Chance increased from 33% to 40%
