The RNG is too powerful. Allow us to Buy Items instead of leaving it up to chance

Far too many times have I been crushing it with my composition, been poised for the win but haven't been getting many items the whole game and then some troll with only 1 unit passive comes in and destroys all my level 3's with almost no items, all because the RNG thought he should have more items than me.

Allowing us to spend money takes out a lot of the 'luck' and inserts the skill, that being the whole point of competition, right?

Bottom line, items win. Comp and strategy dont.

EDIT: I suggest having a store in game where you choose your build path. Items now having a cost now also carry a strategic decision making event. 'Do I buy the items for Shojin to help my lvl 2 Lucian pap, pap pap more often or do i use this gold to level up, get more tanks in front of him and secure the late game'.

Depending on price, some items could become more late game dependent.

Comp matters pretty heavily lmao.

I had perfect items on a Lulu running Yordles. I lost. Why? Because I never found a Gnar.

All three things - Items, champions, and comp, matter quite a lot.

I'd rather have an option to allow you to choose a slot you put the item in which reduces being forced to make crap items or none at all because your first default item may be trash.

Agreed. The rng is just not fair. At the very least, every player should get the same number of items. Not the same items, just the same amount of items.

If youve got a 2 star draven in the back with a rapidfire cannon, a shiv, and bloodthirsters you can throw pretty much whatever the fuck out in front of it and place top 3 if not win. yea, items matter a shit ton. throw an ionic spark on any random champ on top of that and its pretty much GG.
