TFT Matchup still not working

Hey guys

Is it me or the TFT matchup still isnt really "random"? (Even after the fix in the 9.16 patch) Every game, at some point in the mid-game, even if there are 5 or more opponents left, I face the same player every other round (this way, I often play most of my rounds against just 2 players, even tho there are at least 4 others left). Is it normal? Am I the only one?

That's intended the only thing they change is that you down face the same opponent two or more rounds in a row

Yes, but I mean… if the chance of getting the same person every other round is still that high, this solution doesn't make a lot of sense, or does it? I think we should have the same chance of facing EVERY player of the lobby, whereas now most games feel kinda binary, going 1010101 always against the same 2 people even tho there are a lot more players still in the lobby.

I think its fine you'll most likely fight everyone in the lobby, after like 4 stages for sure.

Yeah the macthmaking is still BS.

Just last game I meet one single player 6-7 times. And the Yordle dude I 1v1ed (over 4 rounds since he had 80HP for some reason?!?) in the end I didn't meet ONCE before.

I don't get it at all how this system works. It's definitely neither pure RNG nor tournament based, but I have no clue how it works. It's also not bracket based since it has no problems machting 7th or 8th against 1st or 2nd! It's also not Win/Loose based where everyone who lost last round faces someone who also lost and everyone who won faces someone who also won!
