Ranking in TFT

Ranking past gold in TFT is such an annoying process at the moment. If you have a single bad game you will lose an entire days progress. You will lose literally all the LP that you managed to acquire. 1st place grants me 37lp, 2nd grants me 20-25ish, 3rd is around 10-15 and 4th is almost always 5lp. Meanwhile 5th is -25lp, 6 is- 30 to 50, 7th is 60lp, and 80th is 70+. I am honestly not even sure how much LP you lose for 8th. I always lose ALL of my LP for 8th. I get the whole MMR being higher than most users and etc. But I have to have an outrageous win ration in order to climb which doesn't seem fair. It seems like if you weren't in the initial group to make it past plat that its almost impossible to make it out. I think the LP loss should seriously be looked at and re-evaluated. The game is heavily dependent on RNG and to punish someone for bad rolls so extremely is a bit much.
