What mode should I play to level up so I can get into Ranked games and start climbing?

New to league, but it seems like a fun game.

If you like really toxic people, this game is great.. Guessing you are in the wrong forum and want to play real Summoners Rift ranked.. If that is the case, play normals/ Summoners Rift Normal 5v5 pvp draft pick (can do it quite early on) to get a feel of the "real" game as well as toxic folks/smurfs etc. Co op vs Ai is good for a quick game, maybe to learn the very basics of a champ but pretty useless outside of that due to the predictability of the bots.

I don't think toxic is a good thing, but what I don't like is people quitting. As for the Forums I am in, this is where I was allowed to post in until I hit level 7.

Plenty of people rage quit in ranked.. Afk or feed because they were autofilled and refuse to play that position etc. You will get the hang of determining when it is best to dodge or suffer through the game due to trolls..

I recommend playing SR draft pick normal mode for a while before doing ranked pvp. Folks who jump into ranked as soon as they can tend to get flamed/more toxic behavior etc. Ya, ranked is a totally different game.. Your mid will sometimes rage quit/afk if the jungle doesn't let them have blue buff. Top laner gets behind may rage quits/afk's. Die too many times, your whole team might flame you/report you... Someone gets autofilled to a role they don't want, they will feed/afk, still go to the role they want (2 jungles). Take a champ they can troll you with, recently. Read of an Anivia who didn't get their way and would wall off their jungler, trap them, steal their buffs etc.. Seen folks tell the enemy where their jungler was, when ganks were coming etc because they were just trolling for whatever reason. Ranked imo, isn't really a fun experience. I've had fun games but too many jerks out there willing to ruin everyone else's game because they didn't get their way. It's a blast..
