Found this video that basically affirms the mentality you should have here while you play this game. The Mods will agree I am sure because the video is about not blaming others for anything and fixing yourself.

why is there not a third option that is "other"?
look, i'll admit, I make mistakes in games and I don't always admit when they are my mistake (working on this). but when I have a team mate who is feeding their buts off; going 0/8 despite every other lane doing decent, I will blame them for their shortcoming.
I have no control over how they play and I refuse to blame myself for something they did
