Make the range stat user friendly

Range

Could you change the range stat when you right-click a unit to show how many hexes its range is rather than this random number that doesn't make sense?

Like a melee unit would have Attack Range: 1 hex instead of Attack Range: 180

It just makes the stat page feel very unwelcoming to new players and would help the learning curve for players that are still learning the game.

"Hexes" would not be a consistent unit.

Please refer to this diagram: https://imgur.com/a/Y1UTdyc

Visualize a unit, and the six cardinal directions of the tile it occupies. To put it simply, a second unit that is not on a cardinal tile will be closer than one that is, even though they'd be the same number of "hexes" apart. And these differences get more and more pronounced the more "hexes" you're measuring.

True, but the current system is a bit arcane.

Actually the range of 2 makes perfect sense to me...

I might play too much DnD

They game can be programmed however Riot wants. It should just translate distance units to hexes for the player.

Also with item 3094 2 x 180 = 450 #maths101

I don't think that range actually works in hexes. Ii think hexes are only used for movement and range still works like it does in normal lol.
