Then we know why there's isn't any effort put into this game: people at Riot are just dicking around playing Auto Chess instead of putting effort into the game.

It's worded poorly so we can't know for certain if "around the office" means "at work" or just "the people who work here" but there's definitely the possibility for the former, and I don't know if I can say it's surprising if the former is true. Lack of balancing initiative, poor community involvement, low quality character design, honestly the only people at Riot who (as far as I can tell from what they produce) actually put effort into their work are the music, art, and writing teams, in that order of total effort put in (I usually see no complaints about music, some complaints about art in the game, and more complaints about the writing regarding retcons and stuff, but you can tell that they're still trying to get to their final vision of the universe). If it's all because of Auto Chess, I can't say I would be taken off guard.
