Adding a 5 tier unit at the start of the game to help players from going the same comp every game

Each player is given a tier 5 unit at the very beginning (not deployable until level 5 or something) and is guaranteed to have a much higher chance of getting that tier 5 unit.

This will make strategizing more interesting and slightly remove some of the RNG in terms of final comp since the player must play whatever he can get in original RNG, and want to converge towards the given tier 5 after level 7.

This can also help to not have everyone going for the same comp every game.

Makes too much of a rush for levels because of the strength of a free r5. Also creates too much of a potential free win for comps like nobles, where they rely on specifically getting Kayle to win.

Also fucks over whatever poor guy gets handed Miss Fortune or whatever other mediocre rank 5(s) there are in s10.

It's...an idea. And comes from a decent place. But the drawbacks are a bit much.

i dont understand how this idea is supped to "make strategy more interesting" when everyone is just going to build whatever comp their 5 star is.

oh i got a kaisa, im going voidssassins, oh i got a swain, i'm going shapeshifters.

seems like you're taking the majority of the strategy OUT of the game by doing this

that is truly a horrible idea, a guaranteed 5* in late game or after raprtors would be something acceptable, but that is just madness and the game could be decided by the first pick, a.k.a if someone get kayle or swain you can alerdy surrender.

I personally would sell off that lvl 5 unit imediatly start on my econ. Extra 5 gold in the first round would be just perfect.
