Mine 20 gold TFT mission bugged?

Went from round 2-1 to 3-2 without spending any gold meaning I should have mined well over 20 gold but the mission wont seem to complete for me. i have looked at many posts about this trying to figure out what to do and they all pretty much say you have to be up 20 gold from where you were in the beginning of the stage to the end of the stage and thats what im pretty sure im doing. if im doing something wrong please let me know.

Mined = interest earned.... what did you start with @ 2-1 did you win or lose consistently? You basically have to have 40g banked for 5 rounds to complete this. 30g/30g/40g/50g/50g would be the minimum to do it.
