"Build 2 of the same completed item in a game"
Built 2 Red Buffs, put them on 2 different characters Built 2 Rageblades, put them on the same character
Didn't get credit for the quest. Happen to anyone else?

Same. Started Googling to make sure I was doing it right. Ended up here.
Just happened to me. Built 2 ionic sparks. It said 1 game pending but even after I waited it didn't count for it :/
Yup, built two sword breakers in my last game, and two rage blades the game before that. (both times on two different champs) Waited 10 minutes, still no quest credit.
And don't forget to upvote for visibility.
built two Seraph's Embrace; put one on two different champs. Didn't get it. built two Luden's Echo on a single unit. Still didn't get it.

Same thing happened to me and I have tried doing every combination possible. Also noticed I cannot receive credit for other missions as well. It worked fine yesterday and today it is not crediting any game towards missions for me.
Same. Thought I was doing it wrong. Tried on 2 different champs then same champ and still nothing.
Same happened to me, built two hush one game, two ga another game, neither time worked. I do know that this quest is working for some players, not sure why it hasn't worked for us here.
As i replied in a similair thread:
I contacted riot for the exact same reason: missions are horribly bugged. The support stated that there are no known TFT bugs and that i am the only person in the world complaining. I told them it's not true, and proved by screenshots that there are lots of bugs. The rioter responded: 'you are calling me a liar? stop harassing employees' and then closed the ticket without helping.
Don't expect any help or effort from riot while TFT is still in beta
having same issue has any1 tried 2 of the same spatt items maybe it spatula items. i did 2 gas's and 2 morellos and didnt work
same... built 2 pairs of same items... nothing happened!
same issues, did 2 on same char and 2 diff char nothing.
Yep. Same happened to me. Build two statik shivs, no credits for it. :)

same. I have put same items for 2 champion, I did not finish mission. I have put 2 same items on 1 champion and I still did not finish this mission.[zombie-brand-clap]
same i think it is a bug
it can take a while for the quest to complete even after u finish it cus its laggy, but if it hasn't been completed within a day that would be strange.

same here I have done the same item in 3 games never got credit for it.
Yup. Built two Red buffs on two different champs, Warwick and Zed, no Quest success. I believe that was in a game where I achieved it one turn before being wiped, or the very turn.
I also did not receive any progress in my Quest to 'have 6 trait buffs active at the same time 3 times' after another game later yesterday where I succeeded with Ninja, Knight, Noble, Wild, Demon, Blademaster.
Even used a spat to make my Warwick into a Demon, and Swain into a Blademaster, and that was kinda sweet for a while.
the mission just have changed to build any 3 stars champion [slayer-jinx-unamused]
They changed the mission requirements to building a 3* unit in game. Hopefully that works.
ANSWER: I put 3 items on 2 champs, it completed the mission. The 3 items do not need to be the same items.
I feel like when TFT had just come out, I had the same quest as we all do now, and had had the same problems. I'm stuck on this quest now though :/ I wish I could remember wtf it was we had to do to pass it. I'm going to try building 6 items that are the same on two different people? That's probably impossible unless I'm hella lucky.
