No counterplay strategy?

After the rework to Void stacking Cho'Gath is becoming insanely easy way to win games with very little counterplay. Getting Void synergy is extremely easy with Kassadin and Rek'Sai and people actually aim for two rank 2 Cho'Gaths and stack them both with mana and spell dmg items, ideally item 3165 andYuumi which makes them pretty much insta ulti and its easy to get at least 3 sorc synergy as well. SO let's look at the numbers you get 2 Cho'Gath with 2100 k base hp(not counting items in,only brawler 2 synergy) that is huge frontline, thanks to the mana items they are able to ulti within first few seconds of the round EACH Cho'Gath dealing TRUE dmg of 600-700 dmg which most likely will be able to hit the whole enemy team as the radius is insanely big and knock them up for 1.75 sec. So this comb can deal something between 1200-1500 true dmg(not even counting in the dmg from other units just the 2Cho'Gaths) within literally like 5 seconds, which will delete most likely your whole board as most of the units don't have HP over 1500 even at rank 2, but if by any chance some of them survived they are knocked up for a total of 3.5 sec so they can't really do anything anyway. So I am wondering what kind of counterplay is there to this? Stacking Hush and hope for lucky procs to keep them silenced while my team gets through that massive health bars don't really work? Getting phantoms and hope for lucky proc on one of them? Seems like there is zero counterplay to this. We could hope that the new hex champions which disable items might work but again we will be counting on LUCK to proc it on the Cho'Gaths, so something kinda needs to change here as having comp that has no real counterplay isn't good and withing few days we will see everyone trying to get the same comp(even more then right now,can you imagine?) and this game will be really only about RNG who gets the Cho'Gaths first

PS: I understand that it isn't easy to get two Cho'Gaths rank 2, as its one of the most contested unit atm but there shouldn't be comp that which when you achieve you pretty much win the whole game

Also if anyone has some ideas on how it would be possible to beat this PLEASE share them with me

Void is strong but people are overrating it...no "counterplay" no there is counterplay Chogath has a giant mana bar and can have all of it burned in one auto attack by a demon the carry Aatrox builds whoop on Void builds because Cho never gets to ult because he gets his mana burned and Aatrox deletes several characters at once.

Demon rangers. No mana, no ult.

You can also spread out your positioning so only a small fraction of your army gets hit by the cho ult.

Once you get to a certain elo you'll have on average 5/6 people spamming some form of void/sorc/brawler. If your goal is to beat the 1 guy who actually high rolls successfully you're going to have issues.

You can join the lucky lotto cho spamming/forcing players OR you can just play comps based upon what your given. You won't get as many 1sts but you'll secure a lot more 2nd,3rd,4th.

The counterplay:

  1. I've had a (6) Blademaster roll over Void so fast that they never get their aoe skills off.

  2. Not every game affords staffs/belts, and you can deny them those items in carousels. Without items, the comp generally falls apart a lot faster. (My last 5 games have almost been 100% denied staffs the entire game..... no drops from monster rounds, and always in the wrong position to grab off carousel. I might get ONE before the game's over, and a ton of Tears)

Void takes awhile to actually get Cho skilling unless he's got monstrous items.

It seems like the obvious thing to do is to build some kind of counter, but also grab Chogaths if you see them, thus further dilluting the pool. Their comp is reliant on getting Chogath going, so if you can slow them down you come out ahead right?

Yeah, so Void's are pretty crazy powerful. I've been besting it with 6x Frosty compositions without too much trouble.(Though yesterday I had a really close one where I was lvl 9 and he was lvl 7 with 3* Blitz, Lulu, & Ahri with his Void comp with 2* Cho'gath and it got close even though I had my setup.)

Strategy only really works like 5% maybe 10% of the time because you are at the mercy of RNG. The game could be decided simply because the game refuses to let you get tier 2 on a level 1 champion you need.

And now all of a sudden it is super easy to get demons, gunslingers, Chogath, or sorc, but getting noble or glacial is torture. Arguably, these last two could probably destroy a Chogath build if done right.
