I feel like the noble change will be strong, which will be fun to see implemented.

I think the ninja buff will make akali an instant buy (or zed in early game) regardless of the comp being run as it’s good overall damage and nuking a backline early is great.

I just started running the brawler comp a bit and it’s ridiculously tanky, seeing even more health added in is wild.

And last but not least the knight change seems like a slap in the face. Why nerf something that barely anyone runs as is? Like blocking 10 damage is kind of useless, especially if they land a crit. Even if it applies to all allies it doesn’t seem anywhere near useful

i think the huge problem with brawlers is they have a carry, if that bear get more nerfs then adding a 6th would be fine imo.

while knights is useless/underpowered, you should note a lot go for the 2 knights early on when everyone hit for 60 or so damage and with it effecting everyone 2 knights will be an extremely powerful early game,

for ninja almost all the 4 ninjas are good on their own, and in things like yordles or blade masters you would be running a one off ninja already so its indirect buff to those.

Every knight had their base armor increased to 40 if it wasnt there already. Sejuani, Garen, Darius and Mord are 35, 35, 35, 25. So at 2 knights its probably about the same, but from 4-6 knights its definitely a buff.

Ill have to see how it plays out, Im not overly hopeful as the damage blocked is only from basic attacks. One Kennen or Karthus ult will still take them out like they had no defense at all.

Nobles are much better at 6 then knights, with 60 AC/ 60 MR/ +35 HP per hit.

Both of them require Kayle to hit 6. You can spatula the knights, thats true, but you cant rely on a spatula any more then you can rely on getting Kayle.

Nobles also include a guardian "built in" so adding Braum is super easy and now everyone has +80AC anyway. While the knights would have to add 2 guardian champs.....

Knight changes are a overall buff outside of extreme early game (like only before first carousel), because it now affects the entire team. Giving your entire team 10 damage block is much better than giving 2 units 20 damage block.

Ah I see, that spreads a bit of light on it. I’m not too familiar with running knight early, which is partially my own fault as I don’t really aim for much of a comp/itemization until after Krugs. I actually kind of like throwing the first few rounds to get early access to first carousel since it gives me a better chance of decent items to counter any comps after that point. I pair that with rushing level 6 (which I also hit pre-krugs) for increased chance of a 4/5 cost unit early which can pretty effectively counter almost any comp at that point in the game. Getting something like draven/akali/gnar/cho before round 3-1 is super super fun and a strategy I’ve grown to appreciate (although it can be risky).

Plus being able to have six units out while others still have four can be super strong, even if the opponent has a star advantage.

It doesn’t always work, but when it does it feels sooooo nice and it’s definitely something people don’t expect.
