Suggestions for Tft?

So I thought i had the secret figured out to winning tft and i won every game in norms with the comp i thought would lead me to victory but when i started ranked they would build way more different then people in norms. I have a lot of questions about TfT and i honestly cant find anyting all that usefull so far. I only find guides on what to but i cant find any of the thinking behind it and why they are doing certain things or how to adjust or even counters to anything. Any video suggestions that might help? Or if anyone is willing to take the time to answer some of the questions i have. i watch disguised toast but its mostly new stuff and because everything changed im not sure what applies and what doesnt.
