Braum is one of the most useless champs in TFT

Everytime I put him out there, he throws his shield up in a direction where no enemies are present while every other enemy is right behind him. Like what the hell. Doesn't matter if I put him in the back, front, left, right, center. Doesn't matter. He throws his shield up in either the most useless position due to no enemies being present, or throws the shield up where only one enemy is versus 5 on the other side.

There are many champions who won't always use their ult in an optimum fashion, but when they do they tend to be stronger than those which don't really have any variation in effectiveness. Braum is extremely strong. Don't let the bad shields fool you.

He is one of the best... With 2-3 items he can tank entire army.

He shields in the direction of the furthest enemy from him (not always the enemy in the corner). So if the enemy has assassins jumped onto you backline far from Braum, he will shield in that direction.

If you are anticipating matching up against people with assassins, consider putting Braum closer to your backline.

It is a bit annoying when he puts his shield up the wrong way, but he is far from useless. Braum is one of my favorite units in the game, actually. If you get him a thornmail, dragons claw, and warmogs he's nigh unkillable against many team comps (major exceptions being void or a stacked Vayne). I've had Braums legitimately 1v6 before, it's pretty funny.

You want to win with a meme and watch a braum 1v9? Get a 6 knight buff with a Braum, build a: Thornmail, Dragon’s claw, and a warmogs. Unless you face void, you basically win if you can get a 3* braum with those items, it’s absolutely insane

He he. Put 2 x Thornmail and Dragon’s claw on 2 stars Braum and you'll see who is the best physical damage dealer :)

Dragon tooth, Thornmail, Ionic Spark make Braum very powerful. You really only need 2 of those 3 items for him to hardcarry, if u manage to get all 3, hes going to be a big problem for alot of team comps.

I thought the shield itself was pretty useless, it blocks projectiles which there aren't many to block (he still takes damage, like in regular LoL, but protects people behind him) but just having the shield up makes him take a lot less damage regardless of direction. So, it's direction shouldn't matter much except in very rare cases where an enemy is trying to shoot an ally behind braum
