Im just curious as to how it works. do you gain mmr for 4th place? more for 3rd? etc
i really enjoy the nascar scoring feel, considering how difficult it is to consistently beat 8 players in a free for all. but i feel like im losing more for losses than i win.
Think of it like 7 separate games. If you place 4th, you won 4 and lost 3. How much mmr you gain or lose would depend on the mmr of the people in your game.
If the matchmaker is placing you with players within a certain range of each other, it is safe to assume that in general 4th and up will gain and 5th down will lose. I haven't seen that not be the case though I have heard of some higher ranked players losing a little at 4th.
