When Is It OK To Just Surrender?!

So, I'll admit to surrendering more than one match by mid - game due to not getting my comp togheter, (while others have, mind you).

From what I've found the game mechanics is such that my team at the time of surrender stays put but more like a game bot?

Is this correct?

Do you think it is OK to surrender? My reasoning is it would lessen my enjoyment of the game if I stayed to the "bitter" end!

Whenever you want. You don't have the feeding botlane to vote no and hold you hostage in a lost game when you'd rather be doing something else, take advantage of this.

I feel since this is a single person game and if you could surrender would literally hurt no other players in the game that you should be able to forfeit whenever you like and get in the next game without having to wait.

Surrender all you like it'll only help everyone else climb :)

The reason doesn't matter, it should come with the same results. If you end your match early, you should not be able to just jump into a new one right away. At least a short delay timer to keep people from game hopping.

Comp bonuses are overrated. The 5+ unit bonuses are generally not worth at all. And if you cannot get at least two few-units bonuses you are doing something wrong.

So my answer is never. Unless you only care for "be 1st or go home". Then yeah if you feel you won't win it all go ff :D. But I try to survive as long as I can even if rng went really poorly for me.

When it’s 15 mins in and the score is 0v20 kills.

While I hope such reasoning will be lessened come the next patch in, if you see a 6 nobles set you can kiss your sweet rear goodbye, unless you're 60% Dodge yordles.

This game unlike LoL is not a team game, so leaving really doesn't matter. It only matters to the leaver, because I don't think you can even start another round until that one finishes anyway.
