Idea for an alternative RNG generator for items and champs
So recently there have been a plethora of discussions and threads about how broken and unfair the RNG system for TFT is. While I personally have never been too concerned about it, I would like to add my own chips into the pool and propose a new RNG generation system.
Basically how it would work is like an averaging system of sorts for item generation during the minion/monster fights. That is, for every round against minions there is a certain "optimal" amount of items to receive. For example, on stage 1-3 you would expect to finish with about 4 basic items gathered in total across the whole game. For every minion stage there is such an "optimal" point, and the amount of basic items you would expect to gather during said stage would be generated using a small range of no items to one more than the amount required to reach the optimal item count for that stage. In this way, if you are lacking in items severely and falling behind, you are able to gain more items per round than someone who received a bunch of items early and has already reached the optimal item count.
In this way, I think it may be possible to make TFT a bit more "fair" while still retaining a fair amount of RNG in the game.
I'd love to hear the community, and Riot's views on this.
