TFT season 2 feedback and some suggestions.
Greetings. I am a TFT player on the EU side and have been clearing the weekly quests and keeping up with the orb for a couple months. TFT Is a fun pastime that I love to do at the end of the night as a bit of a cooling off period.
Season 2 added a whole array of changes so I wished to give my feedback by providing one thing I like about Season 2 and then one thing I dislike.
I like the elemental themes, it's nice to have a wide array of champions and seeing a bunch of new faces added to the game. I think the inclusion of some more lesser used champs really added some much needed diversity
I dislike the cuts that was made. before we had a team of yordles now we are down to just veigar, I don't mind yordles as a set bonus being removed but it would been nice to keep them in play.
I like the variety of elements and how each stands out on its own and adds a different feel to gameplay.
I dislike how some champions are borderline unbalanced when combined with there various elemental bonuses. Vayne is a bit problem with this as a well positioned vayne with bloodthirster + rageblade with a light build will destroy the entire game if it gets off the ground. another example of this is summon malz with soji as he spams summons so strong that most other team comps don't do enough damage to clear the minion spam, this gets partially bad with repeating crossbow and yorick.
I like how some elements are setup in a way that shuts down other elements allowing for counter play.
I dislike how some champions are not associated with elements they are traditionally linked to or locations. Nasus not being desert for example, ashe being crystal rather than Glacial, Ez being Glacial
I like the elemental maps allowing you to alter your tactic based on map (for example on ocean maps your cast heavy champs get a bonus)
I dislike how some max set bonuses are unacquirable without lux (steel, cloud, electrical, crystal)
Finally I have one more compliant but this is a carry over from S1. I find that if you start off doing really well and winning a bunch early on due to getting last item choices you end up falling behind and suffering in the long term. Though this is likely a balancing thing It seems overly harsh.
well hopefully you don't find this feedback too mean :) I really do have fun I just hope light/summon become less dominant in a future patch as It would be nice if all elements had more of an even chance.
If I could close with one suggestion It would be nice if TFT points could be spent on little legends either to level them up like the mastery system in the main game, or to purchase new Little Legends in the same way blue essence is spent on champions. if you made unlocking a type of legend blue essence / TFT points you could make the different colors orange essence / rp unlocks to monetize the system in a way that mirrors the base game.
