Why should I sell my champion to get his item?

Garen is adopted··2 votes·880 views

like seriously, what is the reason behind it, even worse, imagine i can upgrade it, but i want that item on someone else, and the best part, is when a champion is upgrading himself after taking another champion with half item and it happen to have another copy in poll.

Like, would it be really that dificult to just juke around items.

because positioning matters

what does positioning have to do with some items? my champions will be in same place regardless of which one have a guinsoo.

because you can go trist buff her up have her carry you and then when you get mf you suddenly swap everything to MF and now i have positioned and built my team to fight that tristana but you have a fed mf instead

and i lose now if you had sacrificed that tristana for the MF and i still lost that would be fine but having the trist and having the fed MF is something you should look to build towards and not instead just get for free

you wouldn't lose if you move your items on something that counter mf

you don't really get how this creates issues and destroys the tactical cadence of the game do you?

+1 Part of the challenge is building your team with the items on the correct champion. We are all in the same boat for this and I feel it's one of the areas that requires some skill (with a little luck) rather than being given the chance to manipulate your team items every round.

On several occasions Ive applied items to the wrong champ, and/or making the wrong full item or made a full item by mistake... I bet i'm not the first and wont be the last to do that, but that was my mistake and a 'get out of jail free card' (moving items) removes the fact i can make those mistakes... games then easier making it even more dependant on random luck! - which imo is too much as it stands.

imagine if people wanted to break items in league as well maybe you bought botrk instead of gunblade by mistake according to their logic players should be able to without any downsides

losing gold in league == losing the unit in tft

If we could do that it would be way too easy to just ride one early game unit and transition those items onto a 3+ cost unit while also keeping that unit you were using for the early game if it fits your comp/strat.
