9.15 is more polarizing than last few patches
With only 1-2 good early/mid game comps viable. The pool on those champions is low. At least before you could count on people picking up demons/sorcs/assassins in the early game. Now it seems Lucian/Trist/Garen/Darius/Pyke are the only early game pieces worthwhile that can carry you to late game. The noble buff makes even early sorc not viable anymore. Late game's a bit different, but by then the key 1-star pieces won't ever drop.
Void, the only reason to take void before was to buff your non-void characters. Cho'gath is the only unit that can deal decent enough damage and that's if you're able to drop a yuumi on him and get him to 2-stars. The rest of the void line's dps is absolute trash. Even the days of yore 3-item kassadin build's aren't viable anymore. I'd take the old void buff over the new void buff any day of the week. Going void feels like kissing your cousin.
Demon. Not only has the origin been completely gutted, but the units themselves were nerfed on top of that.
Assassin/Ninja - Not only have you made corner comps the defacto build of choice but the continual nerf to assassins feels really bad. The ninja nerf makes it where going anything beyond 1 ninja feels bad. Couple that with the void nerfs and assassins hit like their weapons turned into pool noodles. Before with assassins/ninjas you could buy the more AP damage assassins to at least damage noble, but now you're lucky to survive to top 4 if you pick assassins/ninja or void.
The damage to players nerf. Now with people lasting a lot longer than they should've. The late game carousels are getting ravaged by these bottom feeders that should've been eliminated. Being 2nd or 3rd pick when you should've been 1st pick/2nd pick feels bad. The 1 item on the carousel gets wasted on these guys that get eliminated in the next round or 2. Which I've noticed dramatically effects my comp because they take the 1 item I need to complete my comp(9-gold card carrying member.)
Noble + Guardian buffs + assassin continual nerfs means that it's quite impossible now to win with assassins making them the Cleveland browns of tft. (Demons now being the Buffalo Bills presently)
To top it off, with the guardian/noble buffs and void nerfs. There is a desperate need for armor penetration items. Red buffs/morellonomicon are absolutely needed even if you're the one that gets the Noble/guadians in the game. The heavy premium on giant's belts this iteration is keenly felt. The only items on carousels I go for anymore are giant's belts and chain vests. When I get anything else it feels bad because I know with all the free armor/MR/knight DR in game that I won't stand a chance if I don't get these items. At least last patch my turd void champs could buff the assassins/ninjas. Now they're both gutted and the damage resistance in the game is at an all time high.
I don't like fighting 8 other players for Garens. The only champs left in the pool are elises and assassins if I want a 2-star by 2nd carousel.
