Order of the Black Rose Group for people wanting to learn and get better at League.

**TLDR: **

I'm starting a club for league Order of the Black Rose (because, that's the guild name I use for everything... heh). Anyway...

I will be making a Facebook group if it grows, steam group and web page as well. It's a group focused on playing games with its members and talking/discussing and getting better at the game in general while having fun.

This group is open for everybody, regardless of rank level. I'd love to have higher level elo players as well who wish to help those learning the game on a competitive level and are open to giving them constructive criticism in voice chat as they play, while playing a duo or group game in 5v5's. Getting real time response from a better player is extremely helpful.

excessive flaming, insulting, and unsportsmanship will not be tolerated. I understand having a bad game now and again and loosing track of yourself in text, but if rolls into the realm of racial, racist type stuff and I catch wind of it, you will be removed without question.

About Order of the Black Rose:

I have been playing League of Legends on and off since about Season 1. However, I'm a big gamer. I can't just focus on 1 game, (I tend to play upwards of 15 different games in a week) and to be a pro competitive player or even extremely high elo player you have to live and breath league of legends.

The 1 thing I wish I could do though, is get much better mechanical wise at league of legends. Playing League for as long as I have, I do have a good understanding of all the different types of trading in lanes, advanced tactics and map control, yada yada... but knowing it, and being able to do it are two very different things.

The goal of the Order of the Black Rose "The BLKRS Academy", as I like to call it for short, is a Training group for people genuinely interested in closing the gap between knowledge, and skill, as well as getting hands on help and tutoring from players in higher elo's with actual in-game hands on help and tips as they play from these "tutors" and teachers.

In the future, I'd love to find a way to pay the teachers as well with a little "thank you", maybe even enough to allow them to make it a part time job and get paid for it. Maybe a pipe dream? But I think it would be neat.

I want to also make this into something every league player can take advantage of, and make it into a "go to" place for people learning the game. Accessible to everyone, and free.

How does it work?

Quite simply. I want to find high elo players who are open to helping those who are trying to be better at the game. Regardless of whether its competitively or for personal goals. These designated teachers will take a few players under their wing and play with them a few times a week, and give pointers and real time tricks and tips as well as constructive criticism.

These teachers may also spectate a game, giving tips and tricks as well. Or stream their own game for those interested to watch as they explain their thought process as they play. When you meet your teacher is entirely up to you and him/her, and when you do it.

Goals

• Website: Setup a dedicated website with a hook to your personal League account. Showing on your website profile your elo, most played champions, etc. With profile icons for each of the champions in the game, and summoner icons in the game.

A forums on here, where you can discuss, and talk with higher elo players. Where your rank will be shown and given again on the forums.

A stream page on the website, allowing you to quickly watch any of the teachers currently ongoing streams.

A profile section for each of the teachers in the BLKRS Academy showing their own elo rank, and what roles they specialize in.

-Facebook Page: Just another area for people to gather, and discuss different events, situations, etc. Why not right?

-_ Dedicated Teachers and tutors_: Setup players in high elo's who are dedicated to helping and setting up goals, and training sessions with people who want to be taken under their wing.

• Find ambitious league players who want to help run the BLKRS Academy: Yes this ones bolded. I want to make this big, helpful, and always running. I need people to help. I need dedicated people who are willing to help me make this into something any league of legends player can take advantage of in one way or another.

• Setting up a donation to help pay the team members, and teachers for their hard work: This ones self explanatory. Basically, since this is going to be a free service, donations, and such would be a great way for me to pay the teachers and team members helping to bring this program to light for everyone to use.

Please understand that only ranks above Gold can become dedicated teachers, as its at this point where you've proven to be able to do and understand the mechanics, which is essential in teaching others how to overcome their inability to really nail what they aren't getting.

If you're a gold player, or high gold player, you can still stream, and help others still.

Becoming a team member: Team members are those who do what I do. Help run the BLKRS Academy. Updating the website (when we have one), and adding people to the clubs, and managing the every day activities on twitch, and sites.

A little about me

As I said, I'm a hard core gamer but not in the sense that I focus on 1 game. I love games.. To death. Probably to much for my own good. (Actually I know that's the case). I'm currently an Assistant Producer on an indie team called Fenrir Studios. We are making our first game called Dark Storm Ascension, and Dark Storm VR Missions.

However, I am making 0$ as income, and have been for the last 6 years. gasp I know. Our Indie team is an unfunded indie team at the moment, but I wanted to make this personal project for League of Legends to help players. This is why I need team members as well though, as I can't do it all, and soon I fear I may have to find a job. (Unless I can find income somewhere else).

That being said, I hope I can make this into something grand for everyone, but I need help. I can't say that enough.
