I am still looking for a Diamond player willing to destroy me in a custom game.
I need to learn from my mistakes and get better at LoL. The only way to do that is to lose to a better player, over and over again.

Getting destroyed will not make you a better player dude, you have to learn from your mistakes, and learn from your success.

I learn more from my failures than my success, this is the way it has to be! I've had a bronze and gold player stomp me before and have learned much from my experience!
Ayyy this brings back memories, I did the same thing when i was silver thanks for making my day :)
You are aiming too high. Unless they sit down with you regularly to coach you on how to improve, you will get much more value from fighting people just a bit stronger than you then you will someone so much higher that you get stomped without being able to tell what went wrong. There are a lot of smaller skills and decision making abilities plus knowledge and experience that you pick up over time as you improve. If you fight someone just a bit stronger than you you will be able to recognize most of what they are doing and why and be able to pick up by process of elimination the thing they are doing differently, but for a much higher level player it will ALL look unfamiliar so it won't help you.
although it is key to understand what youre strengths in learning are, you have to understand there are more important things to learn than trading in lane. (rotations, opportune time for warding, grouping/splitting, objectives, build paths) the only thing you will POTENTIALLY (because its not guaranteed.) learn is how/when to trade aka matchups. where as if you go back and look at replays of your own playstyle you will get more out of that.
