He says that ranked 5s are not in season 6. Just soloQ and dynamicQ.
Its not actually removed from the game, it's just going to be played less, there will still be teams grinding together in solo que and ranked 5s. I have friends in 5s teams who plan on doing both tomorrow and mine as well
The Article says they are getting rid of Solo/Duo queue adding Dynamic and Pure Solo...they don't mention doing away with Ranked Teams.

so are you saying all those hard grinds to diamond and challenger on ranked teams are useless
I think Lyte meant that Ranked Teams are going to Skip as in not really get changed during 2016
