Warring Spartans Now Recuiting

Warring Spartans is looking for positive, committed players who communicate well and are open to constructive criticism.

Who We Are We are a group of players ranging from bronze to diamond who emphasize team fighting and objective control. We are well organized, with weekly practices occurring every Monday and Tuesday evening (EST) and every other weekend.

What We Are Looking For We are currently looking for one player, preferably someone who plays Top or ADC (or both.) That said, if you are interested in our team and you play a different role I will add you to our prospective players list and contact you if additional spot open up. We have our own TeamSpeak server so having TeamSpeak and a microphone is a requirement. We judge a person by their skill and ability to communicate, not their rank. If you are a bronze player with good mechanics and great map presence we may pick you up and if you are a diamond player who communicates poorly or is negative you may fail to make the cut. We need people who are reliable, consistent, and dedicated to improving their play.

Why We Need More Players Teams go through natural cycles of stability and turmoil. We are coming out of a turmoil period and are in a fairly stable place, but I recently had to let our ADC go because of his negativity and toxicity towards his teammates. We are a team first and foremost, and I don't tolerate any person bashing his team or attacking his teammates.

Why You Should Join Our Team First, and most importantly, we have a lot of fun playing together. Practices are something we look forward to each and every week. Every player on our team watches LCS and we frequently practice LCS strategies and team compositions. We have our own google spreadsheet where we plan practices, tournaments, and team compositions we want to try. Finally, I record every game we play in spectate mode and then I cast these game on Twitch and YouTube so everyone can see what they did well and what mistakes they made. My commentary on these games is designed to be a starting point for discussion for the team, not an absolute truth on how we should play.
