Warring Spartans Now Recuiting

Warring Spartans is looking for positive, committed players who communicate well and are open to constructive criticism.

Who We Are We are a group of players ranging from bronze to diamond who emphasize team fighting and objective control. We are well organized, with weekly practices occurring every Monday and Tuesday evening (EST) and every other weekend.

What We Are Looking For We are looking for players of ALL positions, though we particularly need people who feel comfortable playing Top, Jungle or Mid. We have our own TeamSpeak server so having TeamSpeak and a microphone is a requirement. We judge a person by their skill and ability to communicate, not their rank. If you are a bronze player with good mechanics and great map presence we may pick you up and if you are a diamond player who communicates poorly you may fail to make the cut. We need people who are reliable, consistent, and dedicated to improving their play.

Why We Need More Players Our Top laner is leaving to do missionary work for the next two years and our Mid laner has started a new job which makes it difficult for him to play consistently. Our Jungler will also be gone for several weeks in August and will need someone to fill in for him. Ideally we would like to have a full team with substitutes who can play several roles which will allow us to play more tournaments and practice more often. Long term we would like to have multiple teams which would allow us to scrim against each other and have a strong network of players to play tournaments with.

Why You Should Join Our Team First, and most importantly, we have a lot of fun playing together. Practices are something we look forward to each and every week. Every player on our team watches LCS and we frequently practice LCS strategies and team compositions. We have our own google spreadsheet where we plan practices, tournaments, and team compositions we want to try. Finally, I record every game we play in spectate mode and then I cast these game on Twitch and YouTube so everyone can see what they did well and what mistakes they made. My commentary on these games is designed to be a starting point for discussion for the team, not an absolute truth on how we should play.
