Everyone says the Doom Bots are easy but I'm struggling.

Posting here in the hopes that one day I'll get a reply... Anyway... Everyone else keeps on saying the Doom Bots are easy, but I'm finding them really bloody hard. I've played 3 matches and only won one of them (with the amazing score of 0/1/1). I can't tell if I'm just a really awful player or maybe I need to buy more runes or something. The only thing I've managed to do is not die much. I've been doing the split-pushing but every time an ally comes over to help me, I get swarmed by the bots.

Feel free to judge me on these games: Loss 1 Win 2 Loss 3

Thanks.

You're Level 25. You're only ankle-deep in League experience.

They can be pretty difficult until you can identify what they can do and how to avoid it, and that's a simple matter of practice and exposure. My best advice is to stick to champions that have a good amount of range and can kite really well. Caitlyn's a good choice for that.

Getting champs that can split push well are also a possibility, as the bot's behavior for switching lanes and defending is fairly weak but that's nowwhere near as fun.

And don't worry, just wait until those people play 5 Bomb bots, they will not say that anymore, trust me. :P

So what can I do then to get better? I don't own any long-range champions apart from Kog'Maw. Am I the one making the mistakes? Are my builds poor? I mean, I've been doing my best to not get caught but early game it's nigh impossible to get any farming done with Veigar and Ziggs going after you.

Everyone's already beaten the 2 and 5 bomb versions and I only just managed to beat the 1 bomb bots.

You must learn to never dive them and only engage them when they have 20% health left or less. Otherwise you just keep using poke spells on them

Levels 1 and 2 are relatively easy. They're a challenge, but if you play smart, work with your team, and treat them more like a powered-up version of the existing bots rather than players and exploit the weaknesses that come with it, they're definitely beatable.

Level 5, on the other hand - that's a huge challenge. The whole point is that they're unfair. However, if you use the right strategy, they are definitely beatable. Not easy by any means, but beatable.

Sorry for the late update but I managed to beat the level 2 and 5 Doom Bots using AP Kog'Maw and Support Vel'Koz respectively. Thank you all for the tips.

The people who are saying that doom bots are easy are most likely level 30s who have been playing league for a while. Since you arent level 30 yet, go into doom bots looking to improve and learn how to dodge skills, cs safely under pressure, and learn abilities. It also helps to go in with a group of friends so you can work together. The doom bots are strong but easily out maneuvered once you learn more about how the game progresses. As for how to get better practicing mechanics in bot games such as last hitting really helps. You can also look up guides for champions to help you get a better feel and understanding of the champs and how to build them. I like using lolking.net for guides and I also like using probuilds.net to look at how the pros build champs as well. Another thing that helped me get better is watching streamers on twitch and watching the LCS and OGN. There are some streamers who walk you through what they are doing and can help you learn game flow and mechanics. The biggest thing is to just keep playing and not to just blame your team for losses but to think about what you did wrong and what you could have done better or differently and learn from that. I hope this helps = ).
