Patch-A-Day Mode

Intro: I think we have all had at least one of our favorite champions sent down Nerf Ave. We all miss a specific patch where that item fit just right, or maybe we were too late to realize something that we really wanted to try. For those who have been playing since day 1, would you like to go back and relive the old days? For those who are new-er and missed maybe 1-3 seasons, wouldnt you like to try what it was like when the game was first released?

Idea: I really wish Riot would (Maybe over the summer when the majority demographic of the game has free time) Have a game mode called "A Patch a Day", where day 1 you have the release season 1, then a patch a day for every day until it gets to the current patch. I understand that this could cause issues between people who wanted to play the normal patch, but I think riot could and should take up the challenge. As someone who didn't have every champion and item memorized until half way into season 4, I think it would be great to go back and see what it would been like playing on the patch when I was level 1, or going back to before my time to see the glory days my friends and others speak of.

The point is not so much to see how it evolved, you could just use YouTube or the patch notes for that. It's that you can play through it, feel what it was like, and experience it yourself. If this did happen, my ideal end result would be that they add a more permanent gamemode that would be the most popular/favorite old patch, similar how RS 2007 allows you to go and play the old version, some because they don't like the new version, or maybe they just like to play a specific patch the best.

This post is not so much to have people tell me that it couldn't be done, because Im pretty sure it can, with some effort and planning, but not really and extra designing or anything because it's all already done. This post was meant to see what people thought of the idea of the mode and if they liked it and would want to play it (1 specific patch, a few here and there, or if they were in for the long haul).
