AD champs get the shaft in the new Brawler's mode

I played a few times on PBE and these heroes just can't compete with mages. They get all this cool stuff to do. Meanwhile, ADs have a melee only item that stacks up (nice, but not WOWZEROMGWTFBBQSILSOL) and an attack speed item with low ad that sometimes triggers another effect.

If not giving AD some more phenomenal item effects, can we borrow something that APs currently have for this mode? PBE isn't known for housing a bunch of high level players, but the enemy team always poops on me if I'm a melee AD. I don't do anything special. Meanwhile, they can pull and clone and get even more burst damage, even as supports.
