Anybody else think Mark was fixed?

I've definitely seen a change in the use of summoner 32 since it was nerfed. It used to be a long-range True Damage projectile with a low cooldown. Now it is a gap closer with moderate cooldown. Most people used it for the free sniping and not for the gap closing part. Now the sniping is virtually nonexistant. Now that the sniping is gone, people use it less in favor of summoner 7, summoner 14, or good old summoner 4. The result of that is smarter engages, longer matches, and fewer stupid deaths. This isn't meant to complain to people that they should stop being upset about ARAM's "death", but more to get others to try and see if the nerf did work.

I rarely play now that it's in place. It completely changed the gamemode that I loved. It was a complete slap in the face.

Have you played it since the nerf? Because I have seen a huge difference since then.

Haven't played the game since a day or two after they added the mistake. Don't intend on coming back either unless it's removed or nerfed harder.

How do you know the nerf didn't work if you haven't tried it yet?

While the damage was an issue its just a part of the larger fuck up that is mark, an on demand long range dash with such a short cooldown. Honestly if this is the quality we can expect from now on people need to be fired.

It can really only be used as an offensive dash, and I've found few situations where you could dash in and not get immediately stunned and killed by a few people. With the damage nerf, it got fewer and fewer usable situations, and so it became less powerful, and, in turn, less used.

Even with the damage nerf it is still a good ability on ranged characters. It grants vision on the hit target, making it easier to aim long ranged sniping abilities (Cait, Jinx, Xerath, Nidalee, Varus etc.) as well as getting back into the fight faster if you're coming back from dying or helping secure a kill if the enemies are running.

Is it better than Ignite or Heal? Hard to say. I would say its definitely more ranged champion specific now than it was before.

If you hate it so much that you want it removed completely, that's fine. But you should be offering up an alternative to replace it at the same time.

I'm still seeing it constantly on ranged champions. I've even seen it used to replace Flash, not the other spells.

Even with the damage nerf, it's still an ult range pressure tool on a low cooldown. It's still a bush checker. It's still a True Sight tool. Akali drops her shroud, and immediately gets snowballed so hard that Kevin Smith has to be smiling. At full range, it's still popping and fully recharging Luden's Echo for a double proc.

10 snowball games? Yep, still seeing them. With ranged champs.

It's a wasted spell slot on most squishies now, as expected.

Take exhaust, take barrier, take heal, you might actually survive getting dived or save a teammate. Securing kills might be tempting but it isn't worth it.

The only use for squishies now is with Flash, which would basically add up to Dashing in, securing a kill, and Flashing out in hope that your enemy either didn't see you or doesn't want to pursue.
