The Nexus explosion isn't dramatic enough

This is a minor thing and probably something that won't change, but I feel that the end of the game, when a nexus has been destroyed, isn't dramatic enough. The music feels less dramatic and the explosion is just, well, meh. There's this red swirly thing and then a little puff. What's left is a hole in the ground and a bunch of red shards that feel rather flat. I feel the old explosion was more, well, explosive.

Explosions are a GREAT way to end a match. Everyone likes one. Payload in Team Fortress 2 is one of the most popular game modes, partly because there's a massive explosion at the end if BLU team wins. It's a nice big YAY WE BEAT THEM! vibe that I feel is lacking from this new Rift. And an explosion is way more rewarding than dancing on the corpses of the enemy team, as would often happen in Ascension.

On a related note, AI bots will run away from their exploded nexus (and away in general), but human players can't. Why's that?

I feel like this one is more polished, but it isn't anywhere near as epic as the old one. I want a combination between the new one and Ziggs 's ult.

The dominion nexus explosion is something I think we should make all the maps similar to. I hear this dramatic music coming up, and then the nexus seems to be sucking up air befoooore Buuwushhhhh that just feel so satisfying.

they should have taken hints from dota 2's epic explosions

There is a new animation that is coming for the Nexus explosions, it goes KABOOOOM! and all the particles fly around and then merge into the victory or defeat sign. It is not implemented yet though. Just wait :D

So what has the red sparkly thing got to do with it all? Oh well, I'll wait for the new explosion. Does sound much better than what we currently have.

I miss the shockwave most of all.
