I would love to see LoL get a "Hero Line Wars" mode.

For the unfamiliar:

Hero Line Wars was a custom map in Warcraft III, much like DotA.

You picked your hero and are placed on a team with other heroes, poised against an enemy team of heroes.

Here's the divide: your heroes never directly clash. Your team is tasked with protecting your base, which in the original Hero Line Wars was just a circle. If a mob runs into the circle, you lose a point. Lose all your points and the other team wins.

You earn gold on your hero. This gold is used to upgrade your stats and equipment, as well as spawn creeps to attack the enemy team.

The more gold you have to spend, the stronger creeps you can send at the enemy team. You earn gold from both killing creeps and passively by sending creeps. The more gold you've spent on creeps the more gold you're going to earn passively, so the game's not a stalemate of both teams refusing to send the other team free gold.

Eventually one team can afford creeps strong enough to overpower the enemy team.

I had a lot of fun with the mode and would love to see it reimagined in LoL.
