just let us queue for a role already please, then do bans and picks per usual in champ select.
Also instead of making order random, figure out some default role pick order, then implement a swap system so if you want a different order it can be done. Tada!~
Its not worth splitting the playerbase into an additional ranked queue just to allow team builder to have a ranked mode.
Also you'd need to suggest a system for picking lanes properly. Unless you mean queue for lanes, in which case you'd have people lamenting the lack of diversity in roles. Or if you have an idea for matching up a viable set of roles and a reasonable set up for lanes at the same time, while also allowing for bans, I'd love to hear it, but anything I can come up with seems really clunky.
the current team builder would only work for role of course like mentioned, as for ban phase, it would be a perfect opportunity to increase the ban number and let each player ban 1 champ, instead of giving 1 person on each side the power to ban just his/her lane.
the reason why its not in ranked yet is because the season isnt over, same reason the map re-art isnt in until season ends
