How to claim your Ascension Icons

Go here: Ascension Rewards.

The link is on the homepage of the client labeled Shurima: Earn your rewards or on the LoL website homepage, it's one of the header articles just underneath Play Now. You may have to click the dot on the right to scroll to it, as there are multiple that rotate every 10 seconds.

It may take a while (could be instantly, could be 48 hours), but this link is where you go to claim your Ascension Icons. All earned icons not redeemed will still be awarded at the end of the event, so don't fret if you know you earned it but you forgot to claim it.

Now if I could figure out why my match history hasn't updated for it since the 11th I would be happy. Thankfully I did some digging around and found out about the rewards page without having to make any post about it.

Edit: I played a game in hopes that it would force an update or something and it worked. Or it just happened to update on it's own at that time either way I got my perfect ascension icon finally.

Making this thread is such a good idea. I have answered a lot of these questions as well, never even thought of making a separate post. Hopefully people will see this before making new threads. :)

Why the hell do we need to "claim" them?? -_-

I was wondering where the heck my icons were. It would be nice if Riot made this clearer... or just changed it so you get them automatically like any other Icon...

I am not able to get the icons at all. The award site tells me that i haven't played any games in ascension. does anybody know what is going on?
