ARAM really needs to have a QoL update. Make it so that every champ is available for everyone. It's just not aram when people can create an account and unlock only a few champs. That takes all of the random out of ARAM that made it worth playing.
Put the R back in aRam.
The ARAM Bronze League™ really doesn't put any thought into this? You actually believe unlocking the entire champion pool will result in fewer Sonas and more Sejuanis? No, it won't. (Not to any statistical significance.) People who receive Sejuani or Udyr are still going to re-roll. Yeah, they may re-roll Sejuani into Aatrox, but people who are assigned "top tier" champions (e.g. Sona) aren't going to re-roll. And players who are randomly assigned champions not in their champion pool are more likely to queue dodge.
Then you'll be right back here, cluttering up the forums with "ZOMG DODGING IN ARAM IS OUT OF CONTROL RITO PLZ DO SOMETHING" threads.
Just because you see a Sona, a Fiddlesticks, or a Caitlyn on the enemy team doesn't mean that player is a smurf. Clue up -- HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PLAYERS have Sona, Fiddlesticks, Caitlyn, Ziggs, Nidalee, Lux (et al) unlocked. They aren't ARAM smurf. How often are you sniveling when your team has a Sona, Caitlyn, or Fiddlesticks? That's right -- you don't.
I've spectated two "featured" ARAM games Monday morning (between 10-10:30 Pacific). There was a Ahri, Nidalee, and Ziggs in each game. More proof that "OMG SMURFS OUT OF CONTROL!!!!"...? No, it's not.
