Best TB Matchmaking Ever

So I queue up for Team Builder, wait 15 minutes to find a group that needs a mid. It's a pretty long wait, but hey, I'm finally getting to practice Anivia. Note: I rarely ever play Anivia. Haven't done so regularly since probably before Season 3. I just felt like doing so today, and figured Team Builder, with its new matchmaking adjustments that are supposed to make it easier on people who are trying newer champs, would be supportive.

Guess what I get?

Riot, thanks for reminding me why I don't play Team Builder.

Inb4 someone says "Well, normal matchmaking is different than ranked." Of course it's different. However, when you have clearly that great of a disparity in matching players to create a match that both sides have a reasonable chance to win, that's just dumb. I have no idea how someone can compare the skill levels of the players in question and think "Wow, that's a balanced matchup." This isn't the first time this has happened to me in Team Builder, and it just incentivizes me to not play it ever.

They should automaticlly put more point when high elo, despite the fact they never play one combo of champ/role, their in game skill are still better than an unranked.

Playing TB to be stomp because poeple playing only ranked have a low normal MMR but going in this queue to get the icon is so frustrating.

In fact, if the icon idea was to attract more poeple in TB, I think the matchmaking make just poeple don't want to play more after gain the 6 icon....

The enemy team is all on not their main roles... does that mean it drops them a whole division when accounting for new champs? That's really way too much of a drop. I've had really uneven games lately too and I hope they fix this.

Yeah...that's just not OK. The average even said that the enemy team was an entire Tier above yours...

Balancing for the skill with a champion or role is fine, however it doesn't appear to calculate the fact that a Diamond I player will likely have better overall skills than a Gold II, regardless of the role or champion.

I really want to like Team Builder but the match making can be so incredibly lopsided that it's actually kinda funny. I mean, a five man featuring a Plat, two Golds and a Silver against... a Bronze and a bunch of scrubs like me. I chalk these up to "learning experiences" but for people with a less easy going personality, it has to be incredibly frustrating to play. Like our Kayle, who ragequit after Nids murdered her for the third time.
