I have played LoL since S4 but ever since I played infinite crisis for a short time, I was always baffled by the fact that League of Legends has no 1v1 playlist. My friends and I enjoy playing them but it would be a lot more fun if I was able to get matched with a random player and compete.
There is definetely no need to make a whole new map because The Howling Abyss is perfect for this playist, it has one lane, health pads, and you cannot back.
No need for it. This is a team game. Winning a 1v1 on a map where you don't need any form of map awareness and strategy means absolutely nothing

but the main point from it I'd like to post here is that Crystal Scar would make a much better map for this than Howling Abyss. A map that is mostly jungle-esque makes many more champs viable than a map where you always have to face your opponent head-on in lane.
