There was me, and 9 other bots. they just cap a point and stand there not attacking, all nine of them running heal ghost. Are you kidding me Riot? Is this just an OK thing to do now or what? How is botting THIS blatant???
Same thing happened the last time I played dominion. Literally the LAST time, the game mode has been ruined.
Things like this are why I don't play LoL anymore.

I think Riot might be running bots on dominion so that people who que in the game type can still play it without getting a 30 minute que timer.

They either need to take another whack t the bot problem. Or they need to remove the xp/ip restrictions from custom games.
Their last attempt did fix the problem, it just got displaced.
Its cool to blame riot and all, but at the end of the day it is us -- the gamers -- who are responsible for this. If we didn't have idiots buying from these guys, then they wouldn't be botting. It is a kind of Prohibition day concept, right? As long as there are people out there willing to pay, whether permitted or not permitted someone is going to give it to them. They won't be keeping the games rules and bans may happen, but it won't stop them from botting more.
You can start today by following the damn TOS and keeping your own accounts and stop funding these guys. Get pissed off at your friends who buy. Show solidarity against bots, or stop bitching about them.

I always thought that players under level 30 only get bot games in dominion, ARAM and TT. Am i wrong or am i just really lucky. I haven't seen any bots in quite a long time.
just win a couple then your mmr rises above the bots and you get placed with other players. The reason people get matched with bots when they don't play much is because the bots and your mmr are low.
It's probably because no one, including Riot, plays Dominion anymore XD ... last time I loaded that map was for the special sands mode thing...haven't played the real one in probably years at this point...
I play Dominion all the time. Get a few wins and the bots mostly go away. You still get one on occasion who somehow was on a winning streak. Don't forget to report every bot you come across; it is all that we can do for now.
week before christmas, I decided to play some dominion, not having it in a pretty long while. Every game but 1, I had bots on my team, and 3 of the games had the same bot. One game, when I queued up with a player I just played a game with, we had a team with 3 bots. The whole experience playing dominion that night really sucked, and I lost every game
Botting is this blatant because Riot doesn't give a damn about Dominion.
Last week I played a bunch of dominion games and encountered bots in every. single. game. Debated making a thread about it but didn't since I assume they know, considering the fact that there were other threads on boards and also that there were just so many bots it was ludicrous. It would be impossible to not notice.
Riot should honestly hire some people to just play dominion games all day and ban all the bot accounts one by one. It would be the easiest thing in the world to do. Guaranteed to get rid of hundreds of bots per day, the people getting paid to play dominion are happy, riot is happy because a game mode is saved, the players are happy, everybody is happy! I'm sure there's a much, much easier way to go about it, but still, anything would help at this point, lol. It's gotten so bad it's hilarious.
What time of day do you play dominion? I have never ever seen a bot in dominion and I'm silver so its not like my mmr is in the clouds so I can't get matched with them
I had the same problem a few months ago as well. Sadly, there isn't much we can do about it besides making Dominion popular enough where bots could be noticed and destroyed instantly. Bots are controlled with scripts, so programmers can't just make botting impossible. The bots have good MMR because they are playing against other bots. Banning all the bots is almost pointless, because the accounts can just be remade. The game will be short, and you can just play again another day with humans.
why Dominion should be removed from game and Ascension should be permanent. Dominion is allowed to be overrun by bots and trolls because the majority of players hate Dominion and don't find it a fun game mode. At least more people found Ascension fun while being able to keep the dominion map
This is one of the things most killing Dom. It reduces incoming player pool and it's an issue for 50 or so Dom wins.

Imo Riot should just get rid off levels and reduce IP prices on everything. All those bots are out there for a reason, it's huge account selling industry. If Riot can't fight bots, then they need to get rid of the reason, why they exist.

I got perma banned on my main account about 6 months ago now, an when leveling up like 1-20 i played bots, 9/10 games were filled with bots on my team . They legitly just bought 6 longswords every time and just shoved middle with a , A - CLICK command at nexus auto attacking everything.
Furious i reported them all + nothing will ever get done because it is still like this.
it is like this in 3v3, 5v5 and dominions. 90% of games vs cpu opponents, you will deal with bots. And i liked dominion, thought it was different. Its sad to know this game has gone to shit as far as them caring about other modes besides 5v5 SR
