So I had an afk at the start of my game...

I was ready to have an absolutely horrible time. Playing support without an adc, is usually a VERY miserable experience, but this time was different.

This game the enemy team knew right away they were very obviously going to win, their top quickly snowballed while bot free farmed, however instead of making fun of us, or goofing around dragging it out, and just making it awful. We all just chatted for about 17 minutes while passively playing the game. We had some interesting conversations on Irelia with the new guinsoo's the new masteries, and just general gameplay stuff.

Instead of staring at the in game clock begging for 20 minutes, it turned out to be a match full of engaging conversation, and by the time they were pushing down our nexus quickly and cleanly there were 9 gg's all around, and we all went on our way. No raging out, no reports (it's pbe so you can't blame the afk, it's pretty unstable.), just a nice quick game with some good conversation and that was it.

So anyway, I just wanted to share this experience, because it really is super rare, but also to make a point, that just because you're in a bad situation, in my case, Or getting a free win, in their case, doesn't mean you can't just sit back, chat and still have an enjoyable time.

TLDR: Having an afk doesn't mean you need to rage, and having a free win doesn't mean you need to rub it in the enemies face. Just act like a normal, decent, human being. ;-)

As a frequent visitor of the boards I am confused. I believe you must rephrase your post as a complaint if you want anyone to understand what you are saying. Also remove any punctuation you used and make it all one paragraph.

BTW upvoted since it was a pleasure to read.

I had a game recently where our ADC failed to connect to the game. Our support was soraka so she was absolutely getting murdered bot lane so as the jungler I went bot to provide some relief. About 10 minutes into the game our top lane starts raging at me because I'm not ganking for him. When I told him it was a 4v5 he acted suprised. 10 minutes and he hadn't figured out the ADC was afk, still level 1 and still in base. Map awareness OP.

I was playing top one game in normals and the other top's internet went out. I obviously was able to farm and get some levels while the other player was gone. When he came back, I didn't shit on him and dive his ass until I felt good about myself. I let him catch up on some farm and level back up. When we were closer in levels, the game was much more fun. His team didn't rage at him and I got to practice csing for a little bit.

People just need to start acting a little more human.

You were in the PBE which is very choosy on who joins and who never gets in. Basically you're bragging that you get to play with good players.

You should feel bad*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

I've been playing League for a little over a year I believe, and throughout all that time I've only had about 10 games where something like that has happened, and also nobody being toxic

It's really a beautiful and enjoyable experience. It just goes to show that as long as nobody in the match is already toxic in the first place, everybody will just have a good time, even if you don't win, and I don't mind at that point as long as everybody's nice

LoL would be so much more fun if everyone were like that. I don't get why it's so hard to just be respectful and not bitch at your teammates for making little mistakes or doing the same thing to the enemy team

I love games like that. . . . No, not afk games, but games with individuals who are mature enough to keep their heads on, & not turn into childish monsters without souls.

The best experiences arise when people have empathy. It happens rarely, but the memories that happen with it!

I had a game as darius where I told cho'gath I wouldn't fight him if he didn't fight me, and we could farm minions. So for 20-30 minutes, me and him were just freefarming top lane. We'd even tell our junglers to leave the lane alone.

So while the rest of the people were fighting and all, here we were, relaxing and just taking minions. Come late game he was a giant wall and I was not (since I liked to be stubborn with darius and build mostly damage, and this was pre-rework darius), but it was still pretty funny to see that two people could get along instead of mindlessly beating each other in.

I actually won a game on PBE that started out as me Karma supporting 2v1 bottom vs Jinx/Thresh. I got a double kill when I was level 7 (the Caitlyn came back, she was level 3). Like... just because someone afks, disconnects, or what have you doesn't mean the game is over. You can still bring it back.
