Rito Pls: **TeemoKart** Game Mode (No really)

Here me out, I've (kinda) played this before on crystal scar, but having a full on temporary game mode sounds like a dream. The objective is simple, and games are quick, but a bunch of different rules can make it extremely fun.

Before i describe in detail,

Pros:

  1. A gamemode with multiple strategies available. (its not JUST running in circles)
  2. Limited dedication to a match, one bad decision doesnt ruin the next 30 min of your life
  3. Its an excuse to kill teemos
  4. It wouldnt be too hard to setup the game mode (programming wise)
  5. Its simple stupid fun
  6. There are several options on how to work the gamemode

Cons:

  1. Team- Teemo kart is basically the only option, because coding league to be 1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1v1 sounds difficult
  2. This means the gamemode would rely on teamwork. which is a bit rough.
  3. games dont last long, and if you dont like that, then its a problem

the short version of the mode is 5v5, crystal scar, Everybody gets a bunch of starting gold, (in our tests we have farmed each other) both teams race to get one member of their team around the outer ring of the map twice, before their opponents.

okay, so as long as its a 5v5 situation, there are two ways to go about this. ** either A: both teams are simply pick champs** trying to get one of their teamates across the finish.

or B: a random player is chosen for each team to be a "runner", and THEY have to cross the finish line themselves with tyheir teams help (runners being forced to be teemo are optional)

Now, B: sounds more organized, kind of forcing teams to work together, but the problem is either the runner has to be unkillable, or the opposing team can just pick 4 people to kill the enemy runner.

However with A: a similar problem arises, because this is something Iv'e ran into playing the impromptu version of this. Basically, one team picks 4 burst champions and yi, bursting down the enemy and having yi ult, cleanup, then run laps.

so either way, i think some health modification might be nessisary for an official gamemode. something simple like all champs get +1000 max health, or a shield of the same amount if thats easier

as for how you** spawn**, this gamemode is only fun once you are lvl 18. yes, me and compadres have grinded to 18 on crystal scar (not capturing points) thats annoying, so starting lvl 18 is a must (remember teemokart is not about killing or late game strats)

then with gold, if all players can score, give them as much as you can.** full builds for full fun**. Some players will build pure speed, some will build team speed(coin) and some will build offence to take out enemies, which will make speed demons build some defence to survive. -if 1 runner per team, non runners would need a lowered, set amount of gold IMO, so their influence isnt final.

as for** the map itself**, putting something in the way of the center jungle so players cant walk there seems doable. the outer parts can be left alone, if players are willing to sacrifice lap time for health packs so be it. Then some sort of lap finish line would be necessary, my thought is 3 areas with triggered responses. one, which has a visible finish line, is the actual goal. the other two are behind it, large enough to not be jumped to, and all three must be activated in sequence to complete a lap. <this is to keep people from picking say zac, jumping back across the finish line, and walking across to win in 10 seconds. and of course disabling other points and the 5 towers.

Full game experience for players: so when the game is accepted in que, players go to champ selects, and choose their champs and summoners (no tp or garrison) then load into the edited map. players are given the regular warmup time to buy (though with the more gold). however, instead of the walls going down when time runs out, players are teleported to behind the finish line, and receive a countdown from 5 (bonus points if the countdown goes Penta, Quadra, tripple, Double, One) then all bets are off

games should come in best of three rounds per champ select, to keep games going atleast a decent amount of time. so when one team wins a race,they score a point and the game re spawns.

Bans are optional, i dont prefer them because getting rid of the 6 fastest champs kinda defeats the point of racing. however being able to ban say leblanc who can spawn in and kill someone at 1 second since she will be full build lvl 18 would be nice, so I'll leave that call up to Rito.

TeemoKart. its fun, it is. and its a better option than rito just mixing there old stuff together till we have all for one urf nemesis ascension( i would play that tho)

There a bunch of other rules that can be switched in and out with this, but i'd rather not go over them without atleast a positive response to the gamemode
