Possible Teleporter Function?

As I was playing a game, I noticed and remembered the Four towers by each base, which look like this: http://i.imgur.com/edYaqe9.png

I was thinking to myself how that could be used, and thought of a possible teleporter function, which would work like this:

• each two towers by each base are connected to each other ( as in, the tower for the blue side on top lane and bottom lane are connected to each other, not to Purple/red team's towers.
• Each teleporter individually has a gate that works like the current gates on the base walls.
• No, Bard can't use Magical Journey from the teleporter to the lane.
• there is a special gem In the center of each teleporter, colored to which team you are on, and is clickable like Thresh's lantern, which teleports you to the other side.
• You can ward in the teleporter as well.
