Turrets, how to make them better.

Although I have not played a lot of league compared to some of you, there is one thing that seemed to bother me... Turrets.

--------------------------------------------Turrets to me are the main flaw with league of legends.---------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------The first flaw: Weak late game-------------------------------------------------------------------

Example: The scenario is that my team had just completed a team fight ahead; we took four for two people. Three people can blow through a couple of towers in no less than five seconds with ease, and make it really hard for the other team to have a chance to come back.

Why is this?

Why does it have to be one mistake?

Towards the end of a close game, it really boils down to who is going to make the first mistake.

----------------------------------------------------------Second Flaw: Cold War Tactics---------------------------------------------------------------------

Example: The other team is at our mid lane inhibitor tower. Almost everybody whether it is our team or the enemy will surround the inhibitor tower, playing MAD (Mutually assured destruction) for a few minutes. Talk about boring and annoying. It just breaks the pace of the game.

------------------------------------Third Flaw: Mid towers are more important that the side towers----------------------------------------

Example: In almost every match I play, it's all about the mid lane as it is the most direct and easiest way to pressure the other team. Most of the time, all the action happens on the mid lane. Sometimes the only reason to destroy the side towers is for the money more than anything else. Mid is always the first priority, which is bothersome and leads to my fourth reason.

---------------------------Fourth Flaw: Specifically the outer turrets, they are on the edges of their lanes-------------------------

Just my personal nit picking but why are the turrets on one side of the lane, it makes no sense to me, they should positioned in the middle of the lane like ARAM.

-----------------------------Granted, any proposed solution is a long shot, but what have I got to lose?----------------------------

-----------------------------------------Solution for 1: Make the turrets progressively stronger-------------------------------------------------

Don’t add attack damage, add attack speed. Instead of .83 all the way through, make them a bit faster each iteration with more armor shred each time. Also, maybe the number of shot fired per round could change as a team gets closer to the nexus.

My thoughts on the rates should be?

First layer .83 speed, 0 armor pen, 1 beam

Second 1.00 speed, 10% armor pen, 1 beam

Thrid (inhib turrets) 1.16 speed, 15% armor pen, 2 beams

Fourth (nexus turrets) 1.33 speed, 25% armor pen , 2 beams

Nexus .50 speed, 25% armor pen, 5 beams, aura slow

This will basically prevent someone to easily get tickled by turrets.

---------------------------------------------------------------Solution of 2 : Inhibs need power-------------------------------------------------------------

Inhibitor need to become inhibitors, not a mound of polygons and a waste of time. Give them better resistance, or heck maybe give them a slow so that the other team has a chance to kill. Make it risky instead of an easy 1,2,3.

But how does this relate to problem 2? Because the reward for hanging around the inhib turret in the hopes of destroying it is too damn high and the risk is too damn low.

---------Solution 3: Incentivize destroying secondary side towers first before the secondary mid lane tower.-----------

It would be nice to see some love for the secondary lane towers. Most of the times, they are a secondary objective compared to the all-important mid lane tower. You win your lane and then nope to the second tower, better do some roaming. Not that I don't mind this in particular, it's just that there is way too much focus on the mid towers.

It would be silly to make the side towers inhibitors for the mid tower, so my thinking is to raise the armor and MR of the secondary mid lane tower so the other towers can get some love first.

My ideas are on the table. Obviously they are not perfect, but they are foundations. Let me have it :P
