Can we get answers as to why Riot removed certain items from the Twisted Treeline?

In the most recent patch notes for 4.21, it is simply stated that they have removed "Atma's Impaler, Sword of the Divine, and Executioner's Calling" from the Twisted Treeline without any explanation? I for one rely on Executioner's Calling versing heavy sustain comps on champions where Morellonomicon is not an option. I do understand these items are almost never used, but that doesn't make them useless. Sword of the Divine in particular is somewhat useful for champions like Twitch, and I've even used it on Sivir. Are there any plans to help in item diversity on the Twisted Treeline? Or shall I begin giving up on the map now, as it is losing more and more strategic elements without explanation.

It's not hard to imagine why they removed SotD. The others, not really sure... though I'm not really surprised about Atma's either. EC was always kind of an under the radar OP item, but obviously only vs certain champs. But hardly anybody ever used it. Maybe they removed it because it was underused and morello was pretty much being built all of the time anyway.

Well, these are items that were removed previously on summoners rift (last patch), so Twisted Treeline is only just now catching up.

There are various red posts explaining why they removed these items, but I am too lazy to look for them. Basically:

Atma's Impaler: Not used very often, and needs to be executed differently. Idea of the weapon may return in some form later, but for now is being removed to streamline the experience (note: I don't think anyone actually said anything about the item coming back in an updated form, this is just my own speculation).

Sword of the Divine: Uhm... Reasons? I'm actually not terribly sure why they removed. Probably similar reasons as Atma's Impaler, if I had to guess.

Executioner's Calling: The item gives poor stats, so AD based characters just feel limited by executioners calling, when they can just build tons of more damage and burst through the healing instead.
