Moonflair Spellblade for Summoner's Rift?

I main Elise in the jungle on Summoner's Rift, and during the Ascension event (which I loved), I often bought the Moonflair Spellblade pretty early, as I found that it gave me a great balance of stats for her. Obviously, her abilities and spiderlings scale off AP, and the extra Armor and Magic Resist would help her to gank any lane without worrying that she will be too squishy. Additionally, Tenacity isn't available on very many items, and she would already rather purchase Sorcerer's Shoes or Ionian Boots of Lucidity for more damage or lesser cooldowns.

So, my question is: why can't we have this item in Summoner's Rift?

Riot should at least looking into adding more items with tenacity or removing it completely and have more items that just debuff cc

I think it's typically a balance issue... it would probably instantly make a lot of champions who would use it overpowered relative to those who wouldn't.

I mean, alternatively consider if the items built out of Wicked Hatchet were available on Summoner's rift? ADCs could build IE and then LVDP or LB and they'd not only have their good critical chance but their crits would either do 300% damage or 250% damage and extra 50% DOT (with true sight). Either way this would make a lot of standard ADCs really overpowered and ADCs like Lucien/Ezreal/Vayne/Kog'maw (any others) who typically build BotRK/TF/YG etc... would be a lot weaker relatively (not to mention ADCs would become a lot stronger in general opposed to the other roles).

I feel your pain bro.

Maybe nerfing its stats before putting on the Summoner's Rift?

Spellblade exists for an environment where AP casters need these things a lot more to really survive. See also why TT/Dom has Wooglet's instead of Rabaddon's and Zhonya's.

Not that I'd be objected, because the options for building "tanky AP" definitely don't feel as strong as I'd like, but yeah. Different things for different needs.

it would be really nice because then i could drop a ga for it and get the defenses because having to drop sorc boots for merc treads screws the dmg when i play Annie and plus i dont think a zypher would help my build at all lmao

I'd love to hear from Riot on this...
