ARAM and item proc

AD items proc on basic attacks. That stinks. AD items are cheaper, provide more sustain, and with the ratios of ad champions being so much higher than ap champions, they have just as high an assassin capability as what ap champs do.

Either take away the proc on basics for ad, or add proc on basic attacks for ap items. And if you do, spell vamp should work on basic attacks as well.

The difference between the two types is more about what to build to defend than what damage they can do. Darius can dunk champions dead in seconds when built ... as fast or faster than any ap champ (and with less risk as well). Ad champs can build back health with basic attacks on minions ... spell vamp only works on casting, not on basic attacks. Stop giving AD champs an advantage late game. Even the playing field for all champs all game long.

Oh, and BTW, I don't care what that does to "ranked" play. Ranked doesn't count. it is only for dweebs that don't think they can have fun apart from comparing themselves to others. Childish motives are not a reason to hamstring the game because it will hurt ranked.
